Johan A Eriksson is an advisor, investor, author and speaker. He is deeply passionate about enabling everyone to be net positive to society.

Johan is an engineer from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Throughout his life he has always been working in both large organizations such as Google, ABB and Procter & Gamble as well as with startups in parallell. This has enabled him to have an outside-in perspective on the work he’s doing. Today Johan leads Specialists & Analysts for Google Northern Europe. Johan is also engaged in many projects that strives to have a net positive impact on society. This includes startups in mental health and sustainability, initiatives striving to better measure societal progress as well as projects to accelerate lifelong learning. That said, to improve society we need to work against polarization and for a common understanding of different perspectives. Most problems we need to solve don’t have an easy solution, so we need to embrace complexity. To do that as a group of people we need to significantly improve our ability for empathetic communication. As the world will keep changing, Johan is committed to lifelong learning and innovation as the only long-term sustainable strategy. To learn & innovate in a specific direction, Johan believes that the compass for individuals and organizations need to be very clear values, and the most important value is unconditional love. In terms of being net positive to society we also need to agree on what to optimize society for, something we haven’t done yet. Johan believes that we should optimize society for Sustainable Wellbeing. Wellbeing since if people feel better and better, that’s a good thing and vice versa. That said, wellbeing also needs to be sustainable so we don’t spend all our resources for short-term wellbeing. We hope you want to join the journey for Sustainable Wellbeing, it’s going to be an exciting one.
